Extended Rules
Claiming Rules:
Avoid claiming areas around waypoints
Do not claim other people’s build areas or potential build areas
If you claim across a road please have an accessible entrance to the other side
Faction Rules:
The ruler of a faction must have 2000+ alignment
Faction Lords must have 1500+ alignment
Lesser roles in factions need 1000+ alignment
Faction claims are not confidential and are revealed to all players
Custom factions:
Custom factions need a name/title, an area to be located in, race/npcs, teapons/tools, and faction appropriate lore. Factions must pertain to Lotr/Fantasy lore unless a special event takes place. Custom Factions must follow regular faction rules and norms. Once a faction is inactive for 2 months the faction will be disabled until multiple players request its reinstatement/join it again.
War Rules:
Wars are declared by faction ruler and the defending side is given notice to prepare
Faction builds such as towns and fortifications can be captured during war events
When an attack/siege takes place all items in the build area are up for grabs
Battles are PVP events with armies that either side has or brings(
Wars are fought over territories, subjugation, regime change, or annexation
Once a faction has been annexed or ceases to exist all titles for the losing faction are revoked and all builds apply to the victor
Wars only last 1 week if an extension has not been requested by majority of faction members
Rebellions/Wars of Liberation:
Rebels must have half the equivalent builds in the territory of which they seek to control
Rebels must take territory before war is declared over to continue existing
Depending on peace deal Rebels are either exiled or repatriated
Lost alignment is given back to either side after a war
Rebellions may ally any other exiled/enemy factions that they choose and may call upon them once their war starts
